Joseph... You can post this anywhere you want, but we have created special forums for recruiting, but even better, post all of your help wanted ads in the Marketplace.

Quote:It will only be volunteer work (royalties) until a publisher picks it up, then salaries along with lucrative royalties (which also include subscription fees) will kick in.

While we all would like "lucrative royalties" to kick in, royalties rarely ever happen in this biz and when they do kick in, they are rarely "lucrative".

If you're going to do this, you should be doing it because you love it. Money comes second whether you want it to or not. If you're lucky, you'll be able to cobble out a decent living doing what you love but don't expect to become a millionaire overnight, if ever. It just doesn't happen that way as much as we wish it did.

Quote:This game will be an online multiplayer experience like no other.

That's a fairly broad statement. While it may be true, less hype and more action is the soup of the day here. Of course its going to be unique. Rare are those who'd say "Yeah, we're doing a tired old retread with a 4 year old engine. It'll be super." Basically, I'm just saying that you can refrain from the hype. You're among friends here. We know how it goes because we've been there. =:)

Quote:We're serious about this title, and we want everyone involved to be reimbursed well for their intellectual properties.

Amen, brother. I think we're all serious about what we want to do here, some more than others perhaps. Either way, its going to take blood, sweat, tears and just plain old hard work and alot of suffering for your art before anyone sees a dime for their efforts. We've just got to be realistic about it while keeping the faith.
