It turns out that I have a fire wall. Could someone tell me how to make a fire wall transparent to the dedicated servers I build and them only?

With my comp, my dad has a server that he uses in the basement. My comp. is connected to the server by "obtianing an IP address automatically. Does my dad need to setup his server to post my game or can I still find a way to post it myself.
