Anybody from Salem?

Hi guys, I'm just trying to find some game developers in the Salem area. I've been working a bit with Torque and was curious if other people in the immediate area are in the same boat. I'd really like to switch career modes soon to game development. I'm currently a business applications programmer, and have been for around 6 years. I got into programming in the first place to make games, but it just hasn't happened yet. Well, now I'd like to do something about it! :) Let me know if your close by, and interested in maybe getting together occasionally.

Well yeah, I'm sure you know GarageGames is based in Eugene which is very close to Salem.I live just over the mountains from you, in Sisters.

BTW, I like Sisters! The beef jerky shop there (I can't remember the name) has the best stuff ever! Mmm... Beef jerky...

Hmm... Nobody? Well, that's a shame... :( Oh well, I plan on being much more active here from now on. So I guess my lunches will just have to be virtual. :)

Another Salem-ite :) I grew up in the big S, but I've been in Eugene the last few years. Interning with GG now.
Guess this isn't exactly what you were looking for, but I saw the thread title, and had to jump in. :)
