Questions on the animation system

I would like to know some information about the animation abilities of torque just before I buy:
1 - Is it possible to blend different parts of animations together (eg legs walk, while the upperbody shoots)
2 - Can you have direct control over individual bones, like to rotate an elbow with code, or to make an IK system.
3 - What are the exporters like for max and character studio? A lot of engines have good animation systems but I cant even get a model into them :)

Check out the Max2DTS Exporter documentation to get a feel for it.

3) best bet is to download the demo and check out the max documentation here on this site. The exporter is powerful and because of it's flexibility, comes with a a learning curve. Anything that I can rig I can export.
