Animation for moving arms down

In milkshape, what is the animation that controls the movement of the arms up and down in first person mode so the arms aren't in the way when you look down? Is it even an animation? How is this behavior controlled? I am using mount points outside the body for the camera and when you look down the gun blocks your view. What do I do to correct this?

That works but when you add it to the game the other animations stop playing such as run side and stuff like that. What do I have to do specifically to make the arms move without stopping the other animations.

It shouldn't stop your other animations. Make sure it was properly set as a blend animation when you exported it, and that you only exported the upper nodes.

So how do I do this without screwing up the other animations?

And you can do all that in milkshape? I thought you could only have one thread in milkshape? What's happening is I have a biped skeleton with all the bones in place like a human skeleton. What happens in milkshape though is if I have the arms move at all in any frame other then the frame which controls the up down movement, then it comes out screwed up. If I stand in one place in game I can make the arms go up and down, but once I start moving the arms go back to the original position and I'm not able to move them up or down while moving. So how do I do this without screwing up the other animations?
