Blender exporter and nodes

How should I create nodes like mount#, hub#, eye... in Blender?
Should it be mesh or Empty or other type of object?

    Pavel,

    Name the *bones* of an armature accordingly.
    Also make sure the bone is pointing the desired way in case, say, the cam node is upside down when you export it.
