Why is the site ugly?
What could he do to make it better?

And as a matter of fact, dyslexia is still existent.

It went abit strange on my browser though, the bottom frame seems to move upwards if you change resolution.

1. I have only coded 1 web site in my LIFE, this one so yes it probably needs help,, I learned simple HTML in 3 hours.

2. There were NO errors in my post.

#5 Ummm... is that spyware that I'm asked to install when I visit your site? I'm a little paranoid about that --- I clicked "no," and I got another message telling me I couldn't view the site without clicking "yes".

Yes, some people including me get that message, I can't figure it out but you don't really need it.

#9 You ask for criticism on a public forum you get what you are asking for, especially if you are asking for money.


this just turned me off the entire site.

and I spent enough time in art school to know what constructive criticism is and isn't. I made a comment and suggested a solution, in both cases, that is constructive criticism. Anyone with common sense and a design book knows why that is one ugly user antagonistic site. If you need it spelled out, then you got bigger problems.

and I don't think you got everything fixed by a long shot, this is just one example

#10 I am not saying my site is the best, it needs a better design, but I made that for now.

I am not asking for any money, this web site is just meant for a resource for people.

#11 Your background repeats at large resolutions, and at small resolutions the text goes all the way to the left of the background's bar thing. I don't know if you're trying or not, but the "new models" page does not conform with the homepage.

#13 Heh, i have to agree with both sides, I was really turned off by the advertisement at the top (but that's just me). But I think it looks a lot better than my first website I did :~) . Good models BTW...

#15 Hey I am about re- code the home page and buttons, (its sort of messed up at the moment) change the color and button placing, and get rid of the ad, hopefully finish it by tomorrow.

#16 That is better at least the color scheme is consistent, but get rid of the tiling background it looks like crap at 1280 x 1024 and above!

The Airplane picture has a link which gives internal 404.

How do you code a background? :S

When clicking any of the buttons on the overhead I get a Syntax error. Could be my browser though, anyone else seen that?

Other than that, really great work and nice models!

How come this is aimed for games when the models seem to be very high polygonal/NURBS surfaces?

Edit: Well yeah, I really thought the site was for games and not backgrounds, so ignore my above statement as this seems not to be the case :P

#20 Well actually it is part for games, the new models page I am working on shows some models I have recently made for games, they are low poly.

Syntax error, I don't know why, anyone have any ideas why that would be?

Code a background, html code ect.

I am about to post like 3 more background pages. I have a collection of about 30 most of my own, except for about 3 (including the Apollo).

How can I fix it from tiling?
