I had thought somebody would pick up the ball and run with it -- a sort of community ghost story. Let's start over.

It was a cold night in one of those weird, dark maps and 44 was slowly winding his tank between the trees. There was no noise except the low hum of his engine and the eerie creek of his tank treads. All seemed safe, except the moon was blood red and radar was not working.
As 44 crept carefully around a big boulder, all of a sudden...

The song "Volare" came blasting out of the dark. "Is that you Ricardo?" "Yes, wouldn't you like some rich corinthian leather seats in your tank too?" he asked.

@ Michael- eh, really? Well, it times out for me once today, but otherwise, I've been able to get in most times. I guess it's not completely fixed yet. Comeon -z-, get crackin' - we're suffering here! :)OM

Weirderst ghost story I've ever read.

To me, the unanswered questions (is PTT up or down? Will -z- rescue the principle characters from their suffering? Will Berniece ever find her lost twin Hildegarde?) seemed like a deliberate attempt at leaving open the possibility of a sequel.
Though disappointed in the overall presentation, I felt that it showed a lot of promise, and look forward to a sophomore effort by these same story tellers. Also it's good to see Herve Villechaize getting work again...

I give the story a B-. It started out strong, and I my interest was piqued by the corinthian leather seats. However, the surprise cameo of Tattoo really took me by surprise and it went down hill from there. The ending seemed to lack the vitality of the start, and left too many questions in the air. Do I need to give you all that lecture again? You remember... it seems like a nice little harmless forum. Just one or two posts at first. Next thing you know, you're up all night posting. Next thing you know, you're all posting in a neighborhood like this. Cowering under a rock and craving more PTT. Junkies!!!
How did it all come to this? *sob*

Hey dudes, I'm not sure what happened to z, I think the parrot ate his network cable again or something. I'm currently downloading the PTT database, It's an access database and it gets corrupted pretty easily. Anyway, it's currently 220MB in size.. way to big for access. I'm going to try and repair it and get the forums up and running again. Before -z- dissappeared he was working on a MYSQL version of the forums that should be more scaleable.

And may I ask, what is MYSQL?
