Can we all assume that at the start we are READY

Is it really neccesary at the start of each game to ask if we are ready, r? r? r?. If the player box is ticked then lets assume we are please, and if your not then tough.

U should ask if people are ready because its good courtesy to the players if theyre typing something it lets them know that ur ready to begin the game

I think its up to the individual who is hosting the game, personally I think its polite to check as sometimes players need to say something or come out of the game for a bit and they may need time to do it!!

Yes quite that is why we all say "gg" at the end of a game, then we know we've now't to say. R?...It's a silly habit and i am bored of it,,, OK? Of course we're ready, i am sat in front of the screen what else am i doing???. ( that you'd care about)There is a box to uncheck if your not ready. Who says "no i want to check if Zeg's full yet?"
