How is the next version going?

I heard that there's going to be a level editor in it. Can you give me any information on how it's going so far?

On an Orbz related note, one feature that would be really good in the next version with regards to new levels being created by the players, would be to have an installer built into the game. That is, if a new level done by a player gets approved by you guys & is added to the official severs for rankings, players joining that server who don't have it would be prompted to download & install it to their system. I have noticed that some players have had difficulty (through no fault of their own) installing wingman's levels - not everyone is a computer geek :-). An easier way for players to get new ones in the next version would go a long way for everyone being able to play & enjoy them.
I've started making a new level myself, now that I have the Torque Game Engine. If I can stop playing Orbz so much, maybe I'll get something done with it soon!

That BuggOut game looks interesting. I love puzzle games... probably the reason why I wrote one myself. :-) I hope you'll have a Linux (& Mac) version of it.On an Orbz related note, one feature that would be really good in the next version with regards to new levels being created by the players, would be to have an installer built into the game. I'm not really a big fan of puzzle games, but the Buggout game does look interesting. Well since there are going to be custom levels, why dont u just have separate servers with levels that that person made like right now with wingman u made wingmans server and u can only join that game if u have the level.

Cool games Justin, I like word games! I hope my powerup ideas are in the next Orbz... ::)

That said, there are already two people on the team starting to play with ideas for new level content - so I guess the process has already begun.
We also have a pretty extensive list of features, tweaks, etc to be considered for the next version. Most of the items on that list were suggestions from the community.
Watch for more information on these forums over the next couple of months. We plan to involve the community as much as possible in creating the next version of Orbz.
Thanks for asking Kenneth :)
