Hijacked Chat

I was in a game tonight, which I'm sure was one of the Shockwave servers so it shouldn't be modded, and someone began using my tank's name to type messages. Of course they were vulgar and the other players couldn't tell if it was me or this other person.
Has someone figured out how to hijack the chat in ThinkTanks on regular servers? And, if so, how do we or BraveTree stop it?
I returned after two weeks plus of being away visiting family and I return to a game that's being ruined in a whole new way. Not good.
