As had been said before, I do not have any control over the forums here on GarageGames. If something gets really out of control, I can email GarageGames and get it yanked, btu I do not have direct access in order to moderate.
Note that the forums on PlanetThinkTanks are moderated.

The volume of posts on the ThinkTanks forums makes it impossible for one person to monitor all of it, and as I said before, I have no power to moderate or delete posts.
I ask the community to try to help out by not replying to offensive posts. Trolls feed on the response, so don't respond to them, don't bump threads back to the top, and let them just fade to the bottom of the pile.

Porno and extrememly foul posts will get yanked. I can ask to delete certain threads. The volume of posts on the ThinkTanks forums makes it impossible for one person to monitor all of it, and as I said before, I have no power to moderate or delete posts.

Can't someone just make a server program that rejects posts with foul or near-foul language?

Someday I'll try to design a program that prevents bad words in chat messages.

We (BraveTree) do not have control of these forums. Our publisher, GarageGames, offers them as a service to the developers who publish with them. We can get threads yanked in extreme circumstances, but we cannot be online monitoring forums 24/7 and keeping up with the volume of posts is next to impossible.
We don't collect IP addesses, we don't check against registration codes, and we don't have control of what people decide to type into a chat window. Even if we could, we could not prevent a demo player from using chat (as they do not have a code)
We knew that control of such foul behavior (which we do not endorse) would be next to impossible, so we gave the end user the option of turning it off via the child fillter.
If one is offended by the foul language, which we cannot control, then turn on the child safe filter, which will turn off chat, names, and servernames.
If you purchased the game here at garagegames, and would like to return it, send an email to purchasing@garagegames.com.

I for one believe you are doing a fine job of protecting the rights of free speech.
Most of us enjoy foul language and sexual bantering. Screening those things out from the games will only make Think Tanks a game for little kids. This is an adult game and should be treated as such.
For all you whiny shits...if you don't like the adult language and discussion go play games at disney.com you dumbasses.
Peace out.

PlanetThinkTanks has moderated forums. It is suggested that the community slowly start migrating over there.
