My band Stick Up Kid have released a song that is free to use in your game as background music. No Royalties nothing just would like to get mentioned in the credits - would be nice to know which game it is.
Blind Frenzy Even if you dont use it take a listnen. Let me know ;)

Well, its not nearly as simple as someone coming to the boards and proclaiming that "free music" is available.

1) I would need vrification that these songs are indeed owned by you, and you have full permission to distribute them.

2) There also needs to be an agreement that the song will indeed reamin FOREVER free. The last thing I would want is to use this song in a game, and then find out the band is signed and all previous agreements are null and void.

3) I can only find minimal info on the band, no website nor further info regarding other songs, etc. This information would be very helpful in provide credit and verification.

4) Are there other songs available that might be more appropriate to a specific game?

5) I don't know much about MP3 support in games, but isn't there some kind of licensing required to decode that for commercial applications?

At this time, I don't have a particular game that this song would be appropriate. But I do have future projects that would definately use material like this. Even if 10 other games use this song, I don't have a problem with that. This song is strong enough to handle numerous games, much like I hear many of the same songs in movies.(especially classics)

Hello Nick.

The music was great. When I was listening to it, I have this vision of flying a very fast and nasty spacecraft through a treacherous canyon while shooting and being shot at by aliens. :)

Its good. :)
