TT Weird Mode

My TT installation (PowerBook G4 1GHz 1Gb OSX 10.3) has gone into weird mode. The selection screens (tank, online game etc) now all appear at about half size in the middle of the screen. The play screens are fine, at full resolution. Every transition between selection screen and play screen seems to involve a display mode change, and takes forever. No amount of twiddling with the options makes any difference.
Any ideas, or is it a reinstall?

What is your resolution set at?

Try setting the game resolution to 800x600 from the options menu.

In the options screen, there is a check-box to select or deselect windowed mode.

Im assuming you are playing it in 'windowed mode' as opposed to 'full screen' In full-screen mode, the tank selection screens etc, will stretch to cover the entire screen because the game will alter you screen resolution whilst playing the game (and restore it afterwards) In windowed mode, they will alwas be 800x600 and will sit in the middle of your screen, using your current resolution. In the options screen, there is a check-box to select or deselect windowed mode.

The resolution is set to 1280x854, the full screen option is on, and all screens were originally full screen exactly as planned.
Now it still runs full screen, but only uses a smallish window against a black background to show all the setup screens. Play runs at full res no problem.
It wouldn't be much of a problem at all, except that switching between setup and play screens takes about 10 times longer than it used to. Frustrating when you're chasing an empty slot in a full game. My guess is that the setup screens have suddenly decided to use a peculiar mode that causes the video system some grief.

Thanks for the advice guys. Unbelievably, the problem corrected itself without any help from me after a couple of days and reboots. Gnomie - il y a un fant

I had a similar experience not too long ago. I ended up reinstalling.
