by Sizicus · in ThinkTanks · 12/23/2003 (12:35 pm) · 9 replies

Team USA was started as the group representing the United States in the ThinkTanks Olympics. After falling apart for several reasons in the First Annual Olympic Games, it's time to get some body to this team.

Rosters:

CTF team: Ge0rge
FilbertMM
Alex
Cadc
Racer445

Scrum Team: Tally Ho
PREY
Lagbiscuit
Ge0rge
Ben
(Racer445 - alternate)

Battlemode Team: Ben
Alex
Cadc
Tally
(empty)

Individual battlemode representatives: Ben
Alex

individual Scrum representatives: Tally Ho
Ge0rge

I am (not) sorry to announce the dropping of UF Zach from the roster.

New applicants email me at benstephens@mac.com. It's kind of important that you be from the U.S. to join.

Note that this is seperate from vanshtampede and my USA team thing. In this we will have trainings etc, and a general all year round team USA. I am STILL in CTF here for the olympics, they are seperate things.

I'm not sure what the schedule for the next Olympics will be, but I imagine it will follow something along these lines:

Day 1: Opening Ceremonies (forums)

Day 2: CTF

Day 3: Team Scrum, Team Battlemode

Day 4: Individual Scrum, I. Battlemode

Day 5: Closing Ceremonies (forums)

And if Racing were dropped in, it would probably take place on day 2 with CTF. If Gorilla or SteAlth could tell me whether it definitely will be an Olympics event...

@ UF Zach - I'm sorry. but there is no chance you can join.

@ SteAlth - Thanks I hadn't noticced that :) However it doesn't change when I edit the title, don't know what's wrong...
