Gray Gamers want games too

My mother's boyfriend, likes real time strategy games like starcraft. He plays a few others along the same RTS lines. My dad, rest his soul, liked Myst and that sort of thing.

My mom, on the other hand, likes simple action games, something like GTA 1 or 2
My guess is that most gray gamers wouldn't prefer 3d games, since it is relativly new, and sometimes confusing to learn...

My dad doesn't play games a lot, but if he does, he usually tends to stick with 2d thinking games (he's an engineer)My mom, on the other hand, likes simple action games, something like GTA 1 or 2

My dad enjoyed Air Warriors combat sim, as did all the retired men who played (including some WW II vets). Then the same for WWII Online. The majority of my retired/near retired friends basically enjoy Quake and UT too. I guess all the "gray gamers" enjoy the games they can relate to in some way...Kind of like the rest of us.
