Gray Gamers want games too

#1 I guess the big question is this: What type of games do retired folks want to play?

#2 My mother's boyfriend, likes real time strategy games like starcraft. He plays a few others along the same RTS lines. My dad, rest his soul, liked Myst and that sort of thing.

#3 My dad doesn't play games a lot, but if he does, he usually tends to stick with 2d thinking games (he's an engineer)

My mom, on the other hand, likes simple action games, something like GTA 1 or 2

My guess is that most gray gamers wouldn't prefer 3d games, since it is relativly new, and sometimes confusing to learn...

#4 My dad enjoyed Air Warriors combat sim, as did all the retired men who played (including some WW II vets). Then the same for WWII Online. The majority of my retired/near retired friends basically enjoy Quake and UT too. I guess all the "gray gamers" enjoy the games they can relate to in some way...Kind of like the rest of us.
