The 44 Scholarship Fund...Donate Now

I'd like to start a scholarship program for Demos to get Registration Keys paid for by the Think Tanks community.

Here's the idea...

If there is a Demo who has proved him-/herself to be a worthy opponent, but for some reason can't gather enough scratch to buy a license, let's create a scholarship fund from donations and buy them a license.

I'll throw in the first nomination...

Dinoboy.

He's an 11 year old kid, plays hard, has a good attitude and would likely be pretty good in a Light Tank.

I've made a $10 donation to the fund.

Anybody wishing to nominate must pledge at least a $1 donation. First Demo to get 5 nominations from respected forum members (you know who you are) will get a scholarship.

Donations could be mailed to me (I'm trustworthy) and I'll take care of purchase.

DA CLEANER also gets a nod from me. As does Demo (Demo).

$12 committed by 44.

If we get a $20 donation from every demo we'll be set

This is a good idea, but I think we need a actual SAFE place to actually SEND money too. Not just thoughts. Perhaps an over-seas bank account (-: Also, and more importantly, we should not nominate demos. We should have a bi-monthly contest where demos could send their aplications to you or me (we could head this), we would then pick out the ones we liked and see how many of those we could cover with our current money. then start saving for a few months later.

I say let them battle it out for best demo on the block! we could watch, just like gladiator! 2 events 1 victor!

One problem: As far as I know Demo players don't use the forums so how will we easily tell them about this?
