Where are they now??

#1 Nathan plays as nathan, look for him in speed MOD's. I miss (DEMO) FunMonkey, the leader of AU. He/her was my first friend and AU was my first MOD. Stimpy plays a bit...not much. I never see Fp anymore and rollOn dissapeared, oh, the good old days...

I do remember you being rather hard on "campers" too.
In fact i remember you accusing me of camping once which really got under my skin (usually being the easy going mellow type) Took me a couple games to get over that!

#9 Baba, sorry about the campers thing.....I saw what I saw and it was probably just a coincidence (respawning in the goal kinda thing). I might have been PMS, or might have been losing all night and bitchy.

I can be pretty judgemental about fast tank campers. It means more to me than just a strategy (i know, its just a game....), In TT, you can tell a lot about a little part of someones personality. Some people play cooperatively, some play with great sportsmanship, others play dirty, and some play cheap. Those who camp as a primary strategy exibit a trait that I find repulsive. To me the game is the play, not the just the points.

Anyway, blah blah blah eh?

I ALWAYS try to play with good sports(wo)manship. I think it is very important. That does not stop me from getting pissed if it is "one of those nights" where you ALWAYS spawn at the other side of the map and you ALWAYS get killed when entering the goal with the flag, and no matter how many times you shoot the guy with the flag he doesn't die until the next shot after he scores. Sends me into a rage.

I may dress like the "business woman" during the day (albeit with slightly higher heels and slightly shorter skirts), but at night I am the "human", not the "girl".

Humans get primative when they are pissed off, and I embrace that humanity.....often times to a fault for sure. Bring on the Potty mouth.

Of interest though, since I have "come out" and am no longer posing as a guy, I feel less inclined to be rough. It is like a scientific experiment and when my male alter-ego was playing TT, I became this rougher "guy". But now that I am playing as myself, I find that I am more cordial.

Either way, I have always tended to get up on the soapbox and this post is apparently no exception.

#12 Spony (or spooony as many affectionately call him) still pops into CTF every so often. In fact I have a few hundred instances of him in the CTF stats so he is still around - though less of late. I believe he is somewhere in Europe, (possibly Holland?) hence many of you don't see him online.

I'm pretty sure I've seen Shoseph a few times fairly recently too.

#13 Lol yeah -z-. By the way, your ModWizard is wonderful! It makes modding so easy. There's just one thing- if you're working on it for a long time, hours on end, the game time limit keeps cutting you off. Since you save it as MW1_1.mis when it loads the game after the scoreboard it loads the wrong one. Is there a way that you can make it so that it knows to load the exact same map you've just been working on, or do you know how to get rid of the time limit?

But to get back on topic:

Yes, Where Is Az? I feel like we never see him anymore... -Z- do you have any records of him in CTF recently? Just wondering..

Sigh, -Z- if you finally get the new website going, this will all be so much easier.

The moment you revealed to the group of us that you were YooDooRight, I thought to myself "Dear Lord. How many times did I yell at her to quit her F*@KING WHINING?" Yipes! I also remembered berating you for diving completely healthy when you told my team to stop camping. Yipes Again!

Anyway, I've played with/against you more times than I can count and you're certainly one of the best. If you're interested in extreme scrum play, we have Psychoscrum league and my team Dementia needs a player. We would be honoured to have the first "Chick" as a teammate in league competition. It would also be ironic as the guy who dropped out did so because of a woman. Check out the thread and let me know what you think.

I have apparently caused some confusion. Especially in this string. I wrote YooDoo = TankGirl. But I did not mean YooDooRight = TankGirl. (I have since appended the posting to be more clear). To add insult to injury, I misread (and replied to) Zimps post where he said YooDooRight instead of YooDoo.

I have had MANY names in the past several months and have played you many many times.

One of my last (and briefest) names was YooDoo, only to find that the player YooDooRight was not happy about my name choice. YDR and I played together several times and I was able to nail him to the wall more often than not. (I played with you a few times as YooDoo.)

I quickly concluded that my choice of the name YooDoo was not fair, so I finally came out of the gender closet with a variety of girlie names, only to land on "TankGirl" just recently.

TankGirl is here to stay.

(FYI I remember a Spooky game where you and YooDooRight were kind of arguing)

So, In closing, Although I am NOT YooDooRight, You would not be disappointed to have me on your team and if I had the time. I would love to be the first chick teammate.....but I can't make any commitments relating to my schedule. As such, I respectfully decline your offer.

Maybe someday I will let the cat out of the bag as to what my names have been, but it won't be soon because I still like to use them from time to time. Playing as a guy is kind of an exploration into the psyche of the male species.

NP about the league. Thanks for responding and clearing up the confusion. Aside from your names, I do find it a rather eeire coincidence that both you and YooDooRight work in multimedia (he and I both own a Canon XL1 and have talked about it), have an affinity for the happy smoke, thoroughly despise camping and voice it regularly, and have a similar style of play.
