Question for those who really know...

I am curious about the new version (update) for TT that has yet to come out. I have heard different things about its development, features and improvements, but nothing that is really verifiable. Is there someone that knows of its progress, feature set, and improvemnts that could give us a glimpse of what we can expect, and the timeline for its arrival.
