Glibc error preventing installation

./ThinkTanks_v1.1.sh.bin Verifying archive integrity... All good. Uncompressing ThinkTanks............................ ./setup.sh: line 264: 24067 Segmentation fault "$setup" "$@" 2>>$NULL The setup program seems to have failed on x86/glibc-2.1
Attempting to install 1.1 on Gentoo 1.4 as a server only. No graphics libraries were installed because this is a headless server with no X.
Because of that error though I installed glibc 2.3.2-R1 .
It doesn't seem to like glibc even after I have installed it. Could TT not be happy with this newer version of glibc? It seems to be looking for glibc-2.1 specifically no?
Any suggestions on how to overcome that error?
