{ES} Elite Scrummers!!!

I'm creating a new club for Elite Scrummers. It'll be similar to
LC50's 40 and over club, but for scrum.
To be a member, you must win an individual scrum round with a score
of at least 10, and in a server that at game end has at least 5 Human
Scrummers, that are regulars!!! Newbies and Demos don't count!!!
The tricky part is... you have to win by at least a 4 point spread!!!
"Game Over,Final Score" screen shot's don't count!!! It has to be in the
last couple seconds of play!!! We should be able to see comments in the
bottom left hand corner, and try to get at least 1 of the human tanks in the picture...
Good Luck...

the {ES} criteria that I've set forth???
If not, it should't be hard for you to obtain,
you are no doubt one of the best... But not an
Elite Scrummer... Not until you meet the criteria...
BTW, of all the posted screen shots, there are
only 3 Demos, 1 in mine, which had 8 Regulars
(myself included) and 2 in Triv's, which had 6
Regulars (Triv included).
And I agree with you about the 3 human + 1 Demo...
I think I'll change the criteria to at least 5
regulars, aside from yourself...

Not that I should even care, whereas I've already uninstalled my TT game and
will officially be saying good bye on Tuesday... LC50 has a 40 and over club
for Battlemoders, I just thought it would be cool to have a similar club for
scrummers... If everyone agrees that it's too easy, maybe we can come up with
a more effective system of becoming a member of the Elite Scrummers Club...

Well, SteAlth, I dont gauge a persons skill by how many times they can score. I think a goal after a 45 second run with 9 other tanks shooting at you counts as a bit more than running into somebody and backing into the goal for the entire game. I think one goal that requires running around half the stage twice before finding that special arrow and jetting to the goal counts for an infinite ammount of freebies or 2-second runs. I dont take pride in winning a game 23-0 to a room full of newbies, but if I can manage to score more than 3 goals against Tally/Az/Tank Dork, etc, I consider it a good night. I mean (no offence man) but players like Triv, who base their main strategy of gameplay around camping, can score quite frequenty against newbies and demo's ,but just cannot last in a game full of really GOOD players. Therefore, I belive the only way to really judge a good player is to actually PLAY a few games against them, see what their style of play is, and whether or not they rely on 2-second runs or raw skill in order to score.~Perdurabo.

some of the best games of Individual Scrum I've ever played were
in a server full of OG's, and more often then not, the total score
was less than 10. The best game of CTF I've ever played was completely
Team scoreless!!! To score more than twice in a server full of OG's
is a feet in and unto itself... Maybe this idea will just fade away...
Maybe not...
The question I present to you is this,
Should we have a club for scrummers? Not just any club... A club that
distinguishes you as an "Elite Scrummer". If so, how should we determine
who is worthy and who is not. I thought scoring more than 10 points and winning
a match with a spread of at least 4 points, in a server with at least 5 OG's
was a pretty reasonable test.
Well, I'm going to leave that to the community to decide.

I've played with/against you - and your pseudonyms - many times.
I think not.
No way to tell now.

Jangy, Jangy, Jangy... We've scrummed many times... Many times...
Sometimes you'd win, sometimes you'd lose... But more often
than not, you'd lose. Nothing to be ashamed of, so did everyone else...
Az,
FP,
TD
Stimpy
Sniper
Burnsey
Tally
Baby Clax
even the great Tanky (who was the only one who beat me more
often than not, I beat him maybe 2 out of 5 games...
This list could go on and on...
Scrum is 70% skill and 30% luck, and those ratios fluctuate. You win
some, you loose some... I just so happened to win a lot more often
than most... And I only played the servers that were full of OG's...
I'm not claiming to be the best, nor am I trying to be cocky or arrogant...
I'm just being honest and trying by best to be humble about it. loosing
a game of scrum is something that just didn't happen very often to me...
When I did lose, it was usually because I got lagged out of my game, or
came into the server late.
I've had days when I just couldn't seem to get a break, we all have...
When it's all said and done, it's all about having a good time with the
people you enjoy. I got my moneys worth... Definitely worth the $20...
BTW, I bought TT's for a few buddies of mine for Christmas... So keep
an eye out for them...
As far as being an "Elite Scrummer", I wish I could be around to take
any test you guys set fourth... I'm sure I could hold may own against
both you and Tanky at the same time. I've done it before. In the mean
time, why don't you try taking the test in which I've set fourth.
Or maybe you can't do it...

] edit [ Any scores that have 5 people in game are ENTIRELY incomparable to scores with 8 or more, ESPECIALLY when the names in the lesser are not recognized. You only realize how good you are and how much of your life youve wasted playing TT when you run around newbs like they're greek statues.
Elite Scrummers win against Elite Scummers
Type Intended.

The arrogant words of a man about to depart ab eterno. Nay, i de-besmirch my name, as ai bear no witness to any SteAlth beating, *especially* not in percentage time. Are you saying that when those cats were on the roster, you won more than half the games? Show me proof, and ill burn my house down. Anyone remember this happening consistently?] edit [ Any scores that have 5 people in game are ENTIRELY incomparable to scores with 8 or more, ESPECIALLY when the names in the lesser are not recognized. Who are you?
Get a full Scum server of regulars and you get random scoring. Nothing close to 10. My favorite thing is getting in the
way and stopping scores. Nothing better than messing with Tanky. Heh. I do jump into SCUM when I see him. The Mohamed Ali of TT. Can't really get into playing SCUM though.
Think Hugo and I have gotten, to just playing Team Scum. Loosing touch with the other half of SCUM play.

Aye Prey, the wise amongst us have given up on scrum as anything more than a source for shits and giggles, unless there's like 5 or 6 other skilled peeps playing. More than than, and its lag random at the goal mouth. Much fewer, and its random with the droppings, like when you're walking by the monkeys at the zoo. Play a team game, stop a 3 on 1, score against a 3 on 1, step up with a crucial pick, escape with the scrum while smoking and outnumbered (etc etc etc), and then, we'll chitty chat.

I just started playing in sept/oct, and i have already beaten the so call "Elite" players by four or more. I dont classify myself as "Elite". this game has an 30% of chance, that can make you elite or not. It should be decided by a rating system. kinda like the pro bowl in football, after each week/month the best shell vote on who is elite. someone set up a site for voting, than have the the elite player of the month/week. p.s. please dont player hate.

Stealth, buddy. Thanks for the Olympics. You did a great job. Honestly. But your scrumming talent is barely recognized.

The scrumming community knows the ones who are elite. The new vets such as Major Pain, Baba, Burnsie, Destroyer, Perdurabo, Marrick, et al are the ones to watch out for. Just as Baby Clax was Rookie of the Month.Stealth, buddy. Thanks for the Olympics. You did a great job. Honestly. But your scrumming talent is barely recognized.

In regards to the Olympics, Jangy, they where your idea... All I did was
water your seed... Thank you...
I'm going to miss you guys... And regret not having a chance to scrum
against you one last time. We had some good times :-) Weather you remember
them or not, I sure will...

The crux of the issue: If you are playing with elite players, you CAN'T score 10 goals. Period. I challenge anyone who claims "elite" status to drop into a server with j, td, tanky, z, 56, fp etc., and win by 4 goals, forget scoring ten. The next time someone scores 10 goals in a game i'm playing in ill fill my shoes with ketchup.
My biggest solo "accomplishment?" I scored a combined 24 goals in 2 games against the poop talking carrot with like 5 others, mb 7 lights total and a demo or 2. I can't remember. I don't guild mine own arse, and i don't take screenshots.
I find the creation of a rather blow-hard tautologically-based "elite" scrum club by a player who is rarely if ever seen playing to me analogous to myself calling for applicants into my new mensa club.
It ain't gonna happen.

You fail to understand why we don't care about meeting your requirements.
