Anyone got an MMORPG past the Design Phase?

Hi all,
I'm just posting this up to see whether anyone has actually got any MMORPGS (or any MMOs of any type really I suppose) past the design phase with Torque?
Cos i see it all the time with people trying to start up these projects but sadly I feel it tends to be (at a guess 9 times out of 10) inexperienced developers who want to try and get these projects up and running.
So if anyone has got an MMO game actually in developement (ie coding done that gives the MMO ability) then post here please!
Ta,
Craig

www.EpicFrontiers.com
It's a long road, but if you stick to it and plan(and write out reams of docs), you can do it! If you're looking for a team to join, I've got plenty of openings too...[/shameless plugging]

But there are some websites of people making MMOGs with Torque, most noticeably www.gorpe.com and www.actionrpg.com have some useful code available too.

We don't have a website yet, before showing screenshots and stuff we need some good models and some more testing. But there are some websites of people making MMOGs with Torque, most noticeably www.gorpe.com and www.actionrpg.com have some useful code available too.

We have just got ours past the design phase. We have started the coding and have been several months with making are buildings. The buildings are done and the terrian is complete. We are now working on the characters and animations. We spent 2 years in the design and Torque learning phase. Most people want results instantly, it is better to take the time and make it worth the effort for a good game.We are not posting any info about our game yet because we are using the time toward building it. Most people spend more time setting up websites and updating the sites then spending time building their games. Also, to let you know that their is only two of us making our game, so it will take time to make. We are doing this to learn and to do what we enjoy doing. Good Luck on your games!

Sounds good. I guess the big trick is getting it to talk to sql.

Were in the process of creating an alpha, its not an MMORPG but rather a MMOFPS, no site yet though

Our net code needs some more work of course, but issues with datablock transfers and ghosting have been almost solved. We also have a character server and the ability of adding zone servers, although there is only 1 server now because we don't have money for that yet :|
It is possible that when we test our game with say 1000 players it won't work, and we'll never know until we test it, but i don't see any reason why it shouldn't work
