Sample Animation File?

Hi Everybody!
I am working with a custom (4-legged) character mesh and as such am not using the built-in animations. The problem I'm having is that my "run" animation fails to play when the characer is "running" forward. Basically, the idle animation freezes or continues playing and the character just slides around. It's possible that I've done something in exporting the animations that is setting up the "run" animation so it does not override properly (?). Does anyone have a working Max4 (or lower) animation file I can take a look at to be sure I have everything set up right? The samples that are provided with Torque have only the player/character mesh and do not have any animations, so I have no way to double-check my export settings.
Any help would be very very much appreciated!
Thanks!

It works just fine in the show tool. I thought it might be a Ground Transforms issue, but adding forward motion in Max does not seem to be making any difference at all.

Which seems to describe the very problem I am having, but nothing I do with relation to Ground Transforms seems to help. I have added forward movement to my model in Max and the bounds is linked to follow the mesh and inherit only the y-transform data.
