#62 How About instead of a 5 hour event, we could split it. like the real thing... have half on one day and the other half on another day, it would defenatly be better for me as i only have 1-2 hours a day. besides if team USA and Team Europe went, we could split the teams up, so if half of each team went on different days we could have less people in one match.

As we all know that having more than 12 people will cause lag in the server making it even HARDER to play and since we will have such big teams we will need some space to play in. If we had a five hour thing, our eyes may hurt at the end of the day!

#64 One idea, the first of many to follow. SteAlth, may I suggest you appoint a certain person to oversee each event? There would be a CTF coordinator, a TS coordinator, and so on.

Then, here's my idea of the Olympics.

Okees so as I see it...tell me if I'm anywhere near the general idea SteAlth....

Day one: Opening ceremonies. Err....

Day two: CTF Team Canada vs Team USA
Team PR vs Team Europe

Winners play each other, losers play each other for bronze and silver.

Combine the total score of two games.

Day three: Individual Battlemode First Day. The team captains pick three players from their teams and have them each fight in a server.

Example: Server 1: Individual Battlemode Server One - USA vs Europe
Ben(SA)(USA) vs Full Refund(EUROPE)
Server 2:Individual Battlemode Server One - USA vs Europe
PREY(USA) vs death star(EUROPE)
Server 3:Individual Battlemode Server One - USA vs Europe
Cadc(SA)(USA) vs Cpt RIk(EUROPE)

The players that were chosen will meet in a server hosted by the organizer of the individual battlemode. They would then each go to a server made by one of the competitors, or if lag is a factor, a neutral player could host the games either by dedicated or present but not participating.

Or... and this seems more feasible as to chosing a medal winner...

One player vs one player for the Gold. I don't know exactly how this would operate...

Day FOUR: Team Scrum Day One.

Team Canada vs Team Europe.
Team USA vs Team PR/Global.

Assuming... Team Canada wins and Team PR/Global win-

Then for the Gold Medal, these two teams face off.
The two losing teams play for bronze and silver.

Day FIVE: Team Battlemode

Same format as CTF and TS.

Day SIX: Individual Scrum. Not sure how this would work either.

Day SEVEN: Closing ceremonies, presentation of skins.
This would probably take place on the forums.

Also, I need to be reasured of something, am I in the Europe team or in the USA team?? Because Ben mentioned that I was in the USA team.

@ Stealth= Thanks for selecting me as a captain! I love the idea! However, please let me know or Email me at carlo@aztec-empire.com For all the schedules, so I can be a more effective captain, and say ahead of time if I can make it or not. then I can appoint the second best player in my team as the captain for the day :)

#66 OK, how does this work though!!!??? Cause there are seperate teams in The USA league. Does the winning team from each seperate part of the universe play in the olympics? Or should RVD combine all the teams in the USA league and cause him and me to just be joint captains of the whole shishcabob?? Imput needed...

#69 I would also like to add something.

there should be individual prizes too (ei. most kills/scrum goals) at the end. this would be fairly easy as we could just press "print screen", save them and at the end just tally them all up.

That was decided in the induvidual leagues themselves. For example Me and RVD are joint captains of the USA legue putting us as cap's in the olympics...

Format for playing of TT Olympics:

I'm assuming we want to get this done before Christmas, since that's when people start leaving town, get distracted with relations, so on.

SO, assuming we get this underway before Christmas:

Games start Sunday, December 7th OR Friday December 5th at latest is my idea. This may not work for several people, but IMO we can't start any later.

Going with December 5th for now so that we can cram games in on Staurday and Sunday,

Day 1 December 5th, Friday.

We announce the winner of the skin contest and Post all the entries and the Judges Comments on each one! ( I realize this puts the skinners under pressure. That's only two days from now. But, maybe some of them could make durin the actual event. )

Day 2 December 6th Saturday. Team Battlemode (best score of two rounds)

Team Canada vs. Team USA
Team PR/Global vs. Team Europe

I know my day is too full to compete in that, but mebbe night time or somethin.

Day 3 December 7th Sunday: Team Scrum (best score of 2 rounds)

Team Canada vs. Team USA
Team PR/Global vs. Team Europe

( Might I suggest swtiching teams here? Teams Canada and U.S. already squared off in TB, would be a nice change, give each team a chance to fight each other in the first round.)

Day 4: CTF (best score of 2 rounds)

SteAlth has to talk to -z- about this one, and since it's the first battle on a work weekday, this could just float till he gets it worked out.

From here on it depends entirely on peoples schedules. Maybe everyone could start posting good times of the week for them to play, and give your own feedback on the starting day. I'm putting it a little soon I think, so input from everyone is appreciated.
