Back to their military barracks, the Canucks were celebrating their Olympian heros. Said Team Canada captain Jangles: 'We managed to bring back 3 gold medals to be forever enshrined in a fitting monument buried somewhere under the snow in in Ottawa! We would have cleaned big time but Leopard and Killer77 went MIA due to biological warfare, while Cowboy was spirited away to RingLand. Thanks goodness young bucks Ishbuu (aka 'Mind if I chat'), IcePunk (aka Mind if i score') and Skip the Lou (aka 'Mind if i kill ya') helped us along!"
WOOOT! CANADA RooLEs SCRUMZ!
(Picture below, a fattened Jangles relaxing at the Toronto Headquarters)

Tanks -Z- for the work + dealing with hords of living-dead morons.
Woot to the next ones!

This is from a previous post about the rules of the competition.
The first game, we won hands down 25 - 0
Your team then started to leave, and a seond leg was deemed irrelevant (especially as -from the rules - not required.)
As your team left (all perhaps bar yourself) so did we. The game which started far too late as your team couldnt get itself organised or follow simple instructions, was over-running the next events timeslot, so yes, I ended the server and indivudal battlemode was initiated.
YOU LOST - get over it.
To Everyone Else:
Most of the competition was tremendous fun and a big thank you to all those who played in the right events at the right times and who didnt keep poking their heads into games they shouldn't have been in. Hugo, Jangles, Tally etc, thanks for helping keep control in the servers I wasnt in.
To Team PR:
Well done folks.. 7 medals the highest take-home count. Big congrats to all involved - Leader and Moe in particular, I doubt we could have done it without you.
12/21/2003 (3:46 pm)
@Zach (though Im getting exceedingly tired of trying to justify myself and explain things to you)Quote:
The final (and playoffs) will be the same. One game of 20 minutes, with a second leg should the scores end up tied or within 3 points of each other)
If a second leg occurs, the teams will swap colours, and the final score is the total of the two games.

A big round of Applause for SteAlth and -Z- and the teams for making this happen.
We couldn't have done this without them! I'm already looking foward to the next one.
Maybe -Z- could watch over this until the next one.

PS. @ SteAlth, did Tally bake your cake yet??

you could've done better. Next time, don't be so nice to those
CRAZY CANUCKS!!!
hehehe, just kidding... Good Job Team Canada :-) But you are lucky
that I wasn't able to participate in Team Scrum. ;->
Team Europe... Good Effort :-) better luck in 2004 :-) At least
you accomplished your goal of defeating Team USA with RVD in
it... I have a feeling that next years Team USA will have a
completely different roster... I'm sure Ben and Cadc will step up and
come back with a vengeance (I Hope). But haven't really shown
any real leadership qualities this time around, so maybe they'll be
replaced. I don't know...
@ -Z- , Special Thanks to you for stepping up to the plate and taking
over for me!!! This wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for you, and
I thank you very much for all that you have done... I'm sure the 2004
TT Olympics will be great!!! I hope you liked my ideas for it :-)
@ ALL!!! The TT Olympics was originally Jangles idea, I just
took and made something of it as my contribution to the TT community.
I hope you all enjoy the TT Olympics for years to come :-)
Thank you for the praise, but this was a group effort! I don't know
if I deserve all that.
As you know, I've already uninstalled TT's from my computer
and will no longer be an active visitor of these forums... But I will try to pop in every so often,
to see how things are going...
@ Ben (SA) and Cadc (SA), what happened guys??? If you weren't up
to coordinating Team USA, you should've said so!
@ Tally, where's my double chocolate fudge with real icing???
hehehe

Cadc is dead (I hope for his sake or I'll make quick work of him), and I won a competition outside of TT that got in the way of the Olympics. Otherwise I would have swept individual bm, I 've beaten everyone in that before by large margins... Whew. Don't know what happened in individual scrum, left it up to Tally, Ge0rge, and Flea to pick which ones should play as they play each other much more often than I do. Probably shouldn't have done that. Next year I won't assume I can't beat seeded players.
