Hello everybody!
I'm just interested in what people think of the new Make Games site and to say congratulations to GarageGames and especially Alex for getting this put together.

Please feel free to post your impressions!

Love the look/icons but I still think the Torque Docs should be flashing and bigger.

If you can make it reach out and grab new people by their shirt collar and force them to read first then it would be ideal ;)

I agree that this new facelift grabs your attention. Great job!!!

The Torque Education "coming soon" seems interesting :) Every time I turn around GG is up to something new and cool.

I like the fact that most of the major sections of the site are presented in a clear manner, especially the links to the documentation and tutorials. I hope this helps the new people to the GarageGames community find there way a little easier.

Posting your own impressions, Rob? :P

I like it a lot. Took me a second to see the "documentation" link but overall, much nicer than the huge slabs of text that were there before.

There's still a ways to go before we reach perfection ;), but this is definitely a solid step in the right direction. Way to go, guys!

Yeah, we were just discussing having a new link to the docs with Ben earlier today :)
Looking good

You probably didn't notice, but the Welcome Torque Owners! bar does not appear if you are not a Torque owner. Sign out, then take a look. The idea is that once you become a Torque owner, that bar appears, and, hopefully, you notice the documentation link.

@Jeff: hehe, that's cool, let's hope more people notice the docs link, there's nothing you can do against laziness of not reading docs though :)
