Collision Detection problem

by Spunky · in ThinkTanks · 11/10/2003 (4:43 pm) · 4 replies

When I was playing, I was down to the last little margin of my health. I was driving and then out of the blue, a bullet appears and misses me. For some reason the computer thought that it hit me, and killed me. This bullet did not hit me. I know it's unimportant, but can you guys iron this problem out?

Yeah, any shot that gets near you-very near- hurts you. Bounce back can kill without ever touching, area just has to skim their brain jars, and speedy works same as bullets, just stronger.

Ya, exactly as Ben has said, even if they don't touch, it still is able to hurt u slightly.

Take Fp's volcanic bomb for example. It can land two tank lengths away from you and still do a LOT of damage.

Usually where there's 1 bullet, there's 2 or 3 other bullets that precede or follow it. There's a chance that you were hit from another direction by a bullet that you did not see. You can often use dying to your advantage in scrum. There's a good chance you could reappear with better positioning... Sometime, I throw myself over the edge on purpose, like if the scrum is on the opposite side of the map...
