Programmer Looking for Project

Hello:

I'm looking for a project to work on during my spare time over the next few months.

My main goal is to find a knowledgeable team to learn from the experience. I'm new to the game development world, but have experience with C++/C# and a general idea of game engine components (2d/3d graphics programming, user input, physics, sound ...etc).

I have extensive experience with developing websites and web applications for the past 6 years. Please understand I'm not learning the fundamentals of programming, I've been there done that. I'm trying to break away from the web side of programming and get into game development and systems programming.
