Paying a quarter to watch a blue screen occur is usually bad too :)

And look around a bit when you are at a bar - you'll find thier machines all over the place, and not a single one of 'em setting at a blue screen :-)

And bein' rude to someone who's offering you yet another channel for game distribution by insulting thier product is more rude. And look around a bit when you are at a bar - you'll find thier machines all over the place, and not a single one of 'em setting at a blue screen :-)

Any other details on what sorts of games you are looking for? The initial request is a bit vague regarding topic/gameplay type.

Yeah, the rudeness of most people really scares me, I mean, the guy didn't even ask something stupid, he's just giving people other possibilities. I'm a Linux user, but even Windows can be stable if you have the right hardware, and don't think you are uber cool and overclock your hardware just to get 2 fps more. Depends on the lameness of the user and how bad you treat your install, but for an arcade gaming system that will only have the barebones Windows install and a single game installed and I'm sure it also has the appropiate well tested hardware I don't see how it would blue screen.

I hope this guy comes back and answers your questions, but when I saw it yesterday it was a multi-forum spam and I treat it as such. Today I see it's down to 1 post, so I retract my comment.
@Davis: Ever wonder if they're too drunk to notice? :) <-- :)

I found this link trying to remember what year I built all of these games. We used a DLL injecter method to hook the DirectX DLL's and inject our code into the pipeline. Microsoft called it an exploit later. We could run our own 3D models, sounds and controls into any shareware game. Buy yeah even the open arcade project was struggling then. When we built LAN Zone those were some great machines for LAN parties.
