Doh! I probably forgot to lay down the tag on the example directory. I'll do that now.

Just grabbed Gorpe tonight and let me say first how impressed i am with it. This is exactly what we were looking for.

I have the same problem...it did not create a mission folder nor mission files in it of course.

It did make a "newmission.mis and .ter but it does not work with the gorpe set up. I am in no way a programmer so please inform me as to what I need to change in the mis file to make it work.

Alternatively please send me, if possible, a mission that will work.

Thanks tons in advance!

I have heard alot of chatter about Gorpe and how much it kicks arse, but I have not seen any documentation yet on what it is, and how to get it working. Has anyone written any tutorials for gorpe? Would be excellent if somebody did a quick rundown on GORPE.

LIke Darryl I am not a hardcore programmer. I am a 3d nut, who is really big on RPGS and like the sound of this "gorpe"

I know little about other features of Gorpe. My reason of choosing Gorpe is ONLY because I want to have non-repeating, large-scale terrain. This is done by TerrainManager in Gorpe.

But, you can have a look of this website: http://www.gorpe.com

And when you download Gorpe from CVS, in the /docs folder, there are some descriptions.

...Who can help with loading mission in Gorpe?.... :-(

Hi, Darryl, I just got reply from dear J.DS and solved this problem. I guess you have solved it as well!

In case some others might be interested: The current workable Gorpe version is DR_1_0. But at least at the time I download, it didn't contain a proper example folder, where the missions exist. So the solution is just to get another version of Gorpe, and copy the example folder, recompile. Done!

Cheers!
