Is there better GORPE docs coming soon?

How about letting him get GORPE more complete first? :-)

Well that would work, but working on documentation as the software is worked on works to.

Please rmember that GORPE is a volunteer project. I'm sure that J. Donovan will take all the help you are willing to give.

Actually just a listing of the GORPE files would be handy. Instead of docs, with that I can write docs.

I'm planning on documenting I really am!

Right now there's not a whole lot of difference between GORPE and normal Torque. What differences there are get touched on it the docs in doc\gorpe but not all of them and not in a lot of detail. I'll be refining the existing docs to touch on a few common issues people have been having (Python_d.lib anyone?) And then will be moving on to cover what's different in / unique to GORPE.

The MAJOR thing that needs documented, are the various Python modules. The SWIG folks took out the documentation generation features, and I've kind of been waiting for them to come back in before documenting that section.

I've got a limited amount of time and several code items I want to get in within the next few days. After that, I'll try and get some better docs together prior to DR_1_1.

Jeff is right, I'll take whatever help I can get... And I'm always happy to answer question here or via EMail

Do you have a file list of the differences? I can take that, and do a documentation list for it. The python modules is something that my team could do. Since its GORPE that we are using. A place to start would help speed this up.

I know Scott our Director of Development and I need to organize the SDK for development, so this isnt really any extra work.

Im currently redoing my main development computer, after a fun virus got by norton. So in a day or two I could put my efforts into this. Scott needs a new project anyways :p

Atm its easiest to email me at b_edey@hotmail.com or brian@level10games.com if needed.
