You can send a thing ASKING to have threads deleted by bravetree. And if no one posted on your thread, you can change the title and first post, and simply recycle.

We (bravetree) cannot Delete threads on these forums.

Deleting doesn't occur immedieately though editing does.
Apparently Java posts a query to admin, likely another daemon, and admin deletes the thread.
In any case the thread, with a single entry, that I deleted yesteday appears to be not present today.
So, for any who have left detritus in this forum and who wish to score invisible brownie points, removing threads is both siimple and painless.

I confirmed yesterday that I could delete a thread that I had created by clicking on the little trash can adjacent the thread title in the list window. I also renamed a thread by cliciking on the edit icon in the same list.Deleting doesn't occur immedieately though editing does.
