Anyone explain how H*W/2 != H*W/2 ?

The slope of the red triangle is 8 by 3 (move over 8 grid spaces and up 3) or .375 (3/5)...and the slope of the green triangle is 5 by 2 (over 5 grid and up 2) or .4
the overall slope of both top and bottom shapes is 13 by 5 or .385 (rounded)...in order for both top and bottom shapes to be true triangles both the smaller red and green triangles (because of the way they are placed together shareing parallel sides and right angle with the larger combined shape) they would need to have the exact same slope...which they don't have

Actualy neither shape is an exact triangle...The slope of the red triangle is 8 by 3 (move over 8 grid spaces and up 3) or .375 (3/5)...and the slope of the green triangle is 5 by 2 (over 5 grid and up 2) or .4
