nothing fancy.
"my goal is to make an architectural interactive visualisation in a web page "
that is possible.but viewers 1st have to download whole game in their pc.
so it is better to run by exe.
because, their are limitations to run t3d games through browser
u better go for unity 3d.
it supports streaming and free

If you can code in javascript, you should also take a look at three.js (WebGL) - OpenGL for the web, perfect for games and visualizations.

While Ashan is right, unless you spend $1500 on Unity, it'll display "Powered by unity" splash screen on launch. If you're fine with that, go ahead, the editor is very user friendly. If you can code in javascript, you should also take a look at three.js (WebGL) - OpenGL for the web, perfect for games and visualizations.

at this stage my best options are :
-unity (i have no problem with the watermark or splashscreen)
-Torque3d
-dxstudio
in webgl

If you want to go for WebGL, i suggest you go with three.js, this is the most simple js library(and the most popular) for WebGL.
There WAS this very potent engine "GameCore 3D", i was learning it and the GameCore Company, it was DEAD already. :(
Torque 3D, i feel is very potent but most of the people don't use it(atleast it's true in today's scenario).
I see it's a bit hard too for a Newbie to pick up with, some things in the Editor are not as simple/efficient as they are in Unity.

DXStudio? That software is tagged as FREE but the "Price: FREE" is ONLY partially true, it also has a Pro(Paid) Version. The Splash Screen that it puts in the Demo/Free Version looks cheap(they could have designed a better logo). If you want to go for WebGL, i suggest you go with three.js, this is the most simple js library(and the most popular) for WebGL.

the main reason is the editor,
btw, is am interested in what happens to the gamecore 3d engine, i tried it before and i was highly interested in especially for the georefrenced heightmap and imagery import capabilities, but the price was out of my scope,

while three.js and other webgl solutions seems very intersting, i think that i will try unity and then torque for my project, the main reason is the editor,

these two r enough to meet any type of need.
i use both of them.although i prefere t3d but it's lack of platform support forced me to go for unity.
+unity has so many free contents that u will never find anywhere else.
u can use them in t3d.
but if u stay only with t3d then either u will have to learn 3d modeling or u will have to buy contents from artist.and they are not cheap like unity 3d

GameCore 3d is DEAD, the website was terminated for no renewal, if you downloaded Indie/Free version, leave it, it wont let you publish until it contacts its Company server which is now impossible unless the company is revived again.
three.js is very simple, but its so compared to other WebGLs, scripting in notepad with only manual in hand is a pain.
