I have been tinkering around with the Tribes 2 in game editor now and I am having HUGE issues with getting it to stand up after use. Currently a couple hour editing session I spend more time restarting Tribes and rebooting my computer than playing with the maps. Now I assume that editing for V12 is going to use the same system. Has there been improvements in this area? Can this editor be used for Tribes 2?
I am currently running windows 98SE on an AMD850 with GEForce2 card. I have had no issues with Tribes 2 itself except when I try to ALT-TAB.
I have done a bit of research on the net and it seems as though this is common. The work arounds that others seem to get working for them simply does not work for me. When I try use the copy off of the CD I will either get a fatal error when trying to load my custom map or if I try to edit a standard map I am unable to enter the editor.
Cheers,

Crashing in the mission editor is very annoying. As soon as we get past this initial release crunch we'll be spending some quality time makeing that one solid. There is nothing more frustrating than losing a bunch of work.
