Hello! I represent a small Wyoming entertainment start-up currently designing an indie game. We're going for a top-down 2-d action/adventure game in the style of the early Legend of Zeldas. We intend to have some simple RPG mechanics (a money system and multiple varieties of weapons) but with a skill system that unlocks areas for progression (ie metroidvania). Additionally we have a branching story with morality based choices, a la Mass Effect. We have an small but excellent art team that are in the process of creating the images we need (size:6); additionally we have an accomplished team of writers, who have the main story written and are currently working on said branching paths (size:4); in addition to our art and writing teams, we have a recording studio currently working on sound effects and original scores, and eventually some voice acting (size: 4); finally we have a few team members with some minor C++ experience who have gone through every Torque tutorial available and are currently attempting to code and map what we have (size:3), this is the area we need help in. Unfortunately until we are further along this position will be unpaid, however with the team we have assembled I have no doubt that the game we release will be a success and possibly garner investments along the way, which would allow all of us to earn some income for our work. Please send me an E-mail if you are interested in joining our team (Email: xt_90@hotmail.com). With modern technology (like Skype) distances shouldn't pose much of an issue. Thanks for your time,

-Peter Guernsey

I sent an e-mail. Always on the lookout for inspiring 2D projects, since it's more my style. Would really like a chance to flaunt some of my skills off in 2d. My e-mail should be in my profile if for some reason my didn't got through.
