GG site is stunningly fast

I just upgraded to Mozilla 1.5 (rc2) from 1.0, so my page rendering times are way down. And I've noticed something I'd never realized before: GG is absolutely the fastest site I visit in an average day. Any given page gets pulled down and displayed in less than a second. It really is increadible, and makes surfing a pleasure.

Congrats to Rick and co. for running a really kick-butt site :)

To bad you can't effectively search for any of those incredibly fast loading pages . . .

I just made some changes to the forum system to cache a couple queries whice took a little load off our mysql server up to 1/2 second difference on some forum pages. Likely a combination of Mozilla (I love Mozilla) and the new cached queries.

Mozilla does rock and you don't have to worry about the same problems Valve has been having so much ;-)

Faster than usual on my IE as well..
so it's prolly the query changes

I mostly use Firebird, and GG loads up second only to Slashdot (I have /., GG, iwon, and a message board as my start-up pages).
