USGS has topographical data available.

http://hawaii.wr.usgs.gov/maui/

I'm not sure about data conversion into something T3D can use.

Maybe this will help aswell http://www.mauigis.com/index.html
Torque supports heightmaps and gis data (afaik)
Heightmaps should be a 16 bit b/w image and I have no knowledge of gis what so ever.
So either search for a gis file or see if you can find a heightmap and import it into Torque.

Yes thanks but the problem is getting gis or whatever to a greyscale image that torque can use.
Found microdem...need help for using the help of that...

Using Google Earth and MicroDem to create greyscale heightmaps. www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=27052

Also note that there's a bug with importing/exporting heightmaps from T3D so that the axis can be inverted.

Thanks guys, but does any of those methodes create heightmaps that can be used in torque 3d? I mean the higher the lighter the color. Still cannot find anything usable.
