water not rendering.

I tried creating a river, and creating a water plane, but it will not render.

i had the same problem...my problem was because the water plane was below the terrain...just raise it up...

What isn't rendering? The river/waterplane surface, or the actual object? A screen cap wouldn't go astray either.

All of it was not rendering. After doing google I discovered the problem on the forums from other posters. It was a bug in 1.1 The fix was after patching to 1.2 compiling the source code. This worked for me.
