hi all,
i found some nice work from this forum a few years back, and now may be able to return the favor. orion? clint? you around?
here's the site that has a video of the game prototype, and the company i am partnering with. it is an underwater treasure hunt game.
short and sweet url : aww.pt/
they are a realworld underwater treasure hunting company, no kidding. they also have a clothing line, with kevin costner as spokesman. ha, no kidding.
i'm interested in talking to someone who considers themselves highly skilled, even artists and scripters too, hehe (hello steve acaster?). point of reference: me and one artist put together the prototype in two months, about half-time work, and i hadn't "torqued" in quite some time, so i had to remember a lot of stuff. check out the fish! always been a specialty of mine. point being, if you think you also could have put this demo up in one "man month" send me an email!
part-time can work, and remote work is absolutely fine. not sure what the pay-scale is yet - depends on your skills of course - and we're still working on budget, project scale, and funding. there is publisher interest. at this early stage however, moving from prototype to a vertical slice, some combination of pay and equity would be helpful. personally, i've chosen to have considerably more equity than pay. so basically, tell me straight-up what you need, and we can talk from there.
also, if you feel perhaps not quite skilled enough, or have no "published titles" under your belt, there may be a place for you too. but you need, upfront, to be serious about it, do some useful work on equity, and then we can take it from there.
probably don't want to flood the forum, so please reply to bix at cityarts.com --->ummm replace the "at" with an @
best regards,
john klima
