Hello there everyone!.. I'm just here to hopefully learn something if anyone can help.. I'm keen in the extreme to learn how to make iphone games and am currently banging my tiny brain against objective-c. I'm up to chapter 3 of Stephen Kochan's book (4th edition) and my brain hurts. I don't come from a code background.. I like making graphics and drawing etc.. As I've been doing all of this objective-c, I've had the nagging thought in the back of my tiny mind that I could possibly make games without having to hurt my brain so much. Is it possible to just use itorque 2d? and sort of ad lib with any code that might be needed as I go?.. I was also wondering whether anyone's actually made a game of any popularity using it?.. I'd be grateful for any feedback.. Thanks

what u think.
i am a programmer.do not know anything of art.but from those videos i think it2d is much easier for drug and drop system.you only have to learn very basic scripting.

i never used it2d professionaly.but have helped some one in some scripting.from that experience i will recommend it.

unity could be another choice.but i think 2d is harder in unity than 3d part.

another solution could be:
http://3stepstudio.com/

developed by gg.but seperate product with different vision.no coding.only click/drag/drop system.completely for artist.nothing for programmer.

do not forget to read this:

just ignore those criticism.give gg a chance.from current it2d version i think comming one will be one of the best 2d engine.obviously it will be enriched by 3ss's click and drag and drop system.
so better stick with it.

now it is up to u.
