ThinkTanks Fan Sites (Link Directory)

ATTN PEOPLE:
If you have the time, PLEASE BOOST MY SITE ON GOOGLE! Search for "Nathan's ThinkTanks Fan Site", and choose the link at the BOTTOM, not one of the Proboards links.

If you prefer Yahoo Search, I'm there too!

THANK YOU!

It seems everyone is making TT fan sites. I thought I would make this thread so everyone can post a link to their fan site, and we can kind of make a "ThinkTanks Central". A great way for the older sites, and the newer sites to get traffic, and help reach that bandwidth limit :)

Anyway, please post yours. This will be a GREAT way to get more people buying the game, because of all the info here.

Redwall is a great series. Did you get Loamhedge? It is just out. Did you read the Harry Potter series? How about "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea"? The "Arabian Nights" is good, but isn't very long. I would also suggest the Charlie Bone series, even though there are only 2/4 books out right now. If you run out of ideas, there are always the Hardy Boys - short and pretty easy, but there are 50+ books in the series. My final suggestion is a book called "I Heard the Owl Call My Name" Short, but a very good read.

P.S. Please capitalize my name; it is a proper noun, Pickle.

Whoops! Three more! There is a Civil War trilogy out by Jeff Shaara. (Pronounced Sha-h-are-a) The first two are "Gods and Generals" and "The Killer Angels" but I'm not sure about the third. Did you read Tom Clancy? I haven't, but I have friends who like him. Last one: "The Screwtape Letters." Like "I Heard the Owl Call My Name" this cristian book is short, but good.

Last one: You could try the Lord of the Rings series. If you do, I suggest reading "The Hobbit" before the main series. Man, I could go on forever.

Greetings Tankers,

I have a website as well however it is still a work in progress.

By next week it should be a reasonable site.

Here it is anyway:

By the way this is the first site I've ever made.

Thanks,

That is no excuse!!!! If you can't spell then, don't be so lazy, look it up. I sent you a E-Mail with a link online that you could check your spelling. I didn't want to put you down in front of everyone but I guess you don't want it different. I don't want to be part of a league where the founder can't even spell league right. Sorry but until you get your act together don't bother me with joining.

Hello,

I have a question for every one with a TT fan site. Does any one mind if I use all the information from your sites to produce the first German TT site? I will put direct links to your sites but a lot of potential players here aren't to good in English. That is why I would like to summarize all of your sites and start the German community.

Thank you

Sure Jinx, sounds like a good idea! I've been wondering what "tank" is in German...

I think someone should post the non-english equivalent of "stop camping" in other languages. That would come in handy!

Correct me if I'm wrong:

German: stoppen Sie zu kampieren
French: cessez de camper
Italian: smetta di accamparsi
Spanish: pare el acampar

Also...
British English: Fancy not sitting in the goal, chap?
Texan English: Quit campin' 'lil feller
Canadian English: Stop camping, eh? Get ewt of the goal already.
Goodfellas English: Youse betta not camp no more, capiche?

I like the video Nathan, pretty cool! Can you post instructions for capturing video?

Also, I'm sure Joe would love it if we all of us add our URLs to Google, Yahoo, and other search engines! That way if people are looking for Think Tanks info, they have more resources than just lucking on to this forum.

For Google: www.google.com/addurl.html

Yeh, they put you in as to how many links you have to each other. So make sure that every one of your sites has links to every one elses, and you will have a WEB RING. This will boost you up in Google ratings.
ANd also make links on your sight to the first page you get to when you click think tanks. www.garagegames.com/pg/product/view.php?id=12 And joe wanted the liks to say "tank game" to boost under sesarches of "tank" andf "game". OK??

The tank game link will only work if YOUR site is listed on a search engine (thats to the best of my knowlege), and I'm not forking over dough to a search engine. Then all of you would need to pay for my sites services, such as mods, or videos.

As for capturing video, get Fraps (www.fraps.com) Click on downloads, and get the second one. Its free.

Nathan, adding a url to Google (and even Yahoo!) is free. Google and Yahoo! offer "faster" url listing services for a fee.

Ok. I also noticed that google kinda deploys "spiders" to search for sites.

Oh, and I got a little banner done. I know it's simple, but I meant it like that. I want it to go with the theme of the site:

groups.msn.com/_Secure/0RQDYAnYU*7xuuiOhw7PfCfvooGfmBdvxILeSpmMwaUnLohH0EKe8ZSGDnAJ2JsqC0hVuktnvyaJCrSQ4JuhaQrZEn2Tnr6ZHtU4wTM2s1rk/NTTFS.GIF?dc=4675445441855058134
If I email you about anything NTTFS, I'll put that at the bottom so you know I'm the real thing. Its like my corporate logo :)
