C++ Edit source button not showing

Been out of game design/programming for a while and was into CNC/machnining. After having my second neck surgery its time to sit back while I recover and consider starting back into game design. Already sold my CNC/shop hobby.

So while sitting here waiting for the doc to say go back to my real job I have upgraded and started playing with T3D again.

I loaded up T3D and everything was fine when I clicked on the C++ editor button and it would ask it I wanted to use VS2008 or VS 2010... Just as an FYI I have VS2008, VS2010 and VS2011 Beta installed. However it has stopped working.

I can create a project and the button is not highlighted. I can open the solution file, save and still nothing.

I think the problem actually started once I installed Torsion.

Any suggestions on why it my not be available?

ok Looks like the 4th install resolved the issue. Not sure what was up.

Sounds like you had the demo for 1.2 installed, either by mistake or if you were checking it out before purchasing. The same registry keys are used by both the demo and the full version which can result in the wrong toolbox being launched, or the wrong project being launched by a toolbox, if they're installed together.

It just wasn't in the cards unfortunately to make those two coexist better, but we were able to update it so that 1.1 and 1.2 could coexist.

Haha yep, that was probably it as I did check it out then decided to upgrade since the price was reasonable :)

Anyway, uninstall and re-installs generally can fix most things.

Thanks...
