weapon creation tutorial (3ds max)

can anyone suggest a good tut on wep creation and animation exporting to dae for 3ds max? ive been looking at china town and bought the wep pack and have been looking at it but everytime i go to export something to dae it either has a zillion errors or is just plain scrambled. i even tryed exporting an imported mamba dae file and it was all error filled and scrambled. obviously i have no clue what im doing lol. anyone have any ideas? thanks yall

The problem may be that you are exporting the file as an "autodesk collada" file, you should export it as an "Open Collada" file.

has a link to the plugin you will need to allow 3DS Max to export as an "Open Collada" file type.
