Same old scattersky

I see it didn't make it into T3D 1.2.
Is there an ETA for this? I hope it's a patch instead of a 1200MB download! ;D

It does sound like you are sure that nothing else is in the works.
That's what I wanted to know so I could get back to modding it. Such work would be for nothing if an official re-write was coming.

Id be interested in seeing how that fix is done if you wouldn't mind sharing it once its completed. Thats something that I was hoping for in the 1.2 release.

Not a problem but I'm no programmer; it will be a hack. So far, the best results I've had come from changing several values over time. My object was to improve sunset colors, smooth out the transition from day to night and back and to hold the size of the sun's disk constant throughout. I've been close and I'll get back on it soon...;)
