Help! iTorque isn't refreshing![ANSWERED]

I just got iTorque and started using it. When I play the game, the view does not refresh. So if I have a circle move, it moves and leaves a trail behind it.
Note: I looked at the frame rate and it said that the min fps was 10000 and the max was 0 also it said that the Actual fps was 215. Is this a problem?
Sorry if this was posted before, but I couldn't find anything.

Not that I plan on leaving the background blank, but just for testing purposes.

@CharlesL - It does not happen on a device in my latest build.

Sorry, I should have been more specific there and forgot to check the notify box. This occurs only on the Mac and Simulator, not on the device. This was shipped as a known issue in 1.5, it may have been present 1.4.1 as well.
