Why is it that no matter what the sound level is in TT, whenever I join a game the sound is up full blast....

PC specs:

Windows XP
P4 2.53 Ghz
Radeon 9800 pro
SoundBlaster 5.1 Live!
512 MB ram
120 GB hard drive

(please help!!)

Alt+Tab out of Think Tanks when it happens and check your Creative Volume Control to see if the .wav or volume sliders have changed. Also check the Hardware Acceleration in your Performance Tab under Advanced Audio Properties. Shot in the dark.

Not sure what the problem is here. This does not happen to me. Can you list some more specific steps torecreating this? It happens everytime you start ThinkTanks? Everytime youstart a new server? have you played with the volume prefs in options?

I have noticed it as well Joe. It's a random thing that is near impossible to duplicate. Most noticably it happens during the score tallying after a singleplayer round. The arcade sounds are faint or nonexistant when it does happen (like it's losing a channel). When I alt+tabbed out and back in during the sound event, it restored it to normal. Really weird. More than likely some odd bug with Creative's crap.
