How to change AI character in the adventure kit?

Would anyone mind walking me through the player setup for an AI character in the adventure kit? I need to make many characters but I still have not been able to replace the default AI spawned character. Seems like both the Player and the AI character share the same animation. Anyway, any help you can give me will be much appreciated!
