New first-person animations

I recently upgraded to 1.2 and im loving the new animation system, however I was wondering if there is any chance of getting the new first-person bone structure for the weapons in a .blend format. I am on quite a budget and cannot afford to get any other modeling program, and I would like to make my own first-person animations for some custom weapons, but I can't import the bones too do it with. Thanks.

Won't Blender open the DAE file in the FP folder?

Turns out I need a new version of blender, but thanks, got it imported fine now.

Wait, no, it is importing them, but it doesn't look right, I think it is converting what was bones, into empties, making a big mess. Im also not entirly sure the animations are importing correctly.
