T3D 1.2 - Clip/Ammo glitch/bug

by Robert Fritzen · in Torque 3D Professional · 11/17/2011 (11:24 am) · 5 replies

So, I've gone through and tested all the fun ins and outs of T3D 1.2, and first of all nice job, it looks like the perfect foundation for a good FPS game.

And now lets hit the topic at hand.

I'm noticing that when I use the grenade launcher/mines/turrets it says I have 1 clip left when I use all of the ammo, but it never reloads that clip.

Sounds like a Script side error, and I will check into it when I get back from class.

On a side note, expect my XXZ568 1.4 version out later tonight or tomorrow night, I have good intentions to send out a little alpha release for my first FPS project sometime soon, and that requires that system fully functioning on T3D. So, yeah.... thanks for the nice release GG.

*edit* where's my torque license badge thing?

Is that in the FPS Tutorial template or a different one?

As for the Trident on the badge, that was tied to the Individual licenses only, not the studio licenses.

I noticed the same clip issue as well when I created a new "Full" project.

I had the issue under both types of projects. FPS Tutorial and Full.

And I'm aware that it was for individual licenses only. I was under the impression that I was going to have the silver/black trident instead. and this issue only came about after my upgrade to 1.2. It was fine under my 1.1 studio license.

Ammo shows as 1/0, but I cannot fire the last shot.

This is a glitch on the grenade launcher, the mines, and the turrets.
